Everywhere At Once: Liverpool's Grassroots Venues Join the UK's Biggest Music Weekend

The city that gave the world The Beatles is celebrating its grassroots present this weekend as Everywhere At Once comes to Liverpool.

25 June 2026Liverpool

Liverpool's relationship with music is foundational to British culture. The Cavern Club, Eric's, Cream — the city has always understood that grassroots venues are where history gets made. This weekend, Liverpool is part of Everywhere At Once — the nationwide live music festival powered by The National Lottery and Music Venue Trust, running from Friday 26 to Sunday 28 June 2026 across more than 400 venues across the UK. ## Liverpool This Weekend The city's grassroots rooms — Buyers Club, District, The Shipping Forecast, 24 Kitchen Street — are hosting shows across the weekend. Liverpool's scene has always been diverse: from the psych revival to electronic music to jazz, the city covers the full spectrum and its venues reflect that. Dave McCabe, former frontman of The Zutons and one of Liverpool's great songwriters, is playing as part of the wider Everywhere At Once programme this weekend. A reminder that the city's musical heritage is very much alive and playing in small rooms. ## The Stakes Liverpool knows what venue loss looks like. It has fought hard to keep its grassroots spaces open. Everywhere At Once is a national celebration of the rooms that make scenes possible — and Liverpool's are among the best in the country.
